Job Description

The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following probationary position: 

Assistant Principal – Mahopac Middle School

• Assist in the supervision of the school’s instructional program for the purpose of instruction and the learning environment.
• Conducting staff observations and evaluations using the Danielson Framework
• Plan, organize, administer and schedule instructional and non-instructional programs and activities.
• Ability to motivate and collaborate with staff, students, and parents in support of carrying out the district’s mission.
• Guides discipline-related matters in accordance with the student code of conduct.
• Assists in hiring.
• NY State certification required: School Building Leader (SBL) or School Building Administrator (SBA).
