Job Description

The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated positions for the 2026-2027 school year: 

Math Teachers (2) - Mahopac Middle School

• NYS Certification in Secondary Math
• Additional Elementary or Special Education Certification Preferrable 
• Experience teaching Algebra
• Creating engaging lessons that are geared towards all learners
• Familiarity with technology including the Google Platform
• Use of formal and informal assessment to drive instruction
• Strong Family communication 
• Knowledge of Middle School Mathematics
• Knowledge of Next Gen curriculum changes
• Recommendations from fellow colleagues about working well with others
