Job Description

The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated probationary position for the 2026-2027 school year:

Art Teacher – Mahopac Middle School/Mahopac High School

NYS Certification in Art
Experience with a variety of different forms of art including Fine, Digital and Applied arts including Adobe Creative Suite- Photoshop, Illustrator.
Experience working with students with disabilities
Ability to teach the elements of art
Ability to inspire students
Willingness to participate with school and community art shows
Ability to work Collaboratively and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Experience working with grades 6-12
