Job Description

The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated probationary position for the 2026-2027 school year:

World Language Teacher (Spanish) – Mahopac Middle School/Mahopac High School

NYS certification in Spanish 7-12 required.
Dual certification in Italian is preferred, but not required.
Experience teaching secondary language courses preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
The successful candidate is an educator who is passionate about world languages and the study of culture.
Flexibility and responsiveness to changing requirements.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues throughout the District.
