Job Description

The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated position for the 2026-2027 school year:

Secondary CSE Chairperson - Mahopac Middle School/Mahopac High School

Facilitate the Committee on Special Education meetings for students in grades 6-12.
Display excellent communication skills; both written and spoken.
Establish and maintain a collaborative approach with the CSE
Ensure compliance with Federal Law IDEA and NYS Part 200 Regulations as well as Section 504.
Work closely with families and staff to develop and implement high quality IEPs.
Analyze student data to support program planning and improved outcomes for students with disabilities.
Demonstrate strong organizational and documentation skills
NYS School Psychologist certification preferred.
