| Director of Technology/CIO/DPO | | The Mahopac Central School District anticipates an opening for a Director of Technology/CIO/DPO. The Director of Technology supervises the district’s technology personnel, infrastructure and operations, as well as the staff development efforts that emphasize integrating technology into the curriculum. It involves overseeing the instruction of students in the use of computers and a variety of software applications. The Director also oversees the operation of the administrative computer applications and provides consultation, guidance and direction for the area of District Operations. Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications in accordance with the Association of Mahopac Administrators (AMA) contract. The successful candidate will: - Support and coordinate the work of teachers, teaching assistants, clerical staff assigned to the technology department and network technicians working closely with other administrators to ensure the effectiveness of integrating technology into the total educational program.
- Have knowledge of technology applications within the educational and administrative environment
- Have thorough knowledge of organizational management, public and business administration and budgeting
- Have familiarity with schools and latest educational philosophies and trends
- Act as District’s Chief Information Officer (CIO)responsible for data collection and reporting
- Act as District’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for supervising data privacy
- Have the ability to work effectively with district administration, administrative and technical staff
- Possess good planning and development skills
- Hold valid New York State SDA or SDL certification
- Preferably have a minimum of four years of experience in an educational technology setting including two years in an administrative or supervisory capacity.

The PE/APE Teacher will develop and implement lessons/units that promote physical fitness, motor skills, and overall well-being in an inclusive and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement individualized physical education programs based on students’ IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
- Adapt curriculum, equipment, and teaching strategies to meet diverse physical and developmental needs
- Collaborate with other PE teachers, special education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Highly skilled in differentiating instruction to personalize learning to meet the diverse needs of all students
- Experience with collaborative lesson planning, and team-teaching
- Experience designing student-centered lessons and engaging curricula that individually challenges students and inspires them to grow
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education (Adaptive PE endorsement desired)
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school or therapeutic setting
- Knowledge of IEP goal development and implementation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
