Art Teacher – Mahopac Middle School/Mahopac High School

• NYS Certification in Art
• Experience with a variety of different forms of art including Fine, Digital and Applied arts including Adobe Creative Suite- Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Experience working with students with disabilities 
• Ability to teach the elements of art
• Ability to inspire students
• Willingness to participate with school and community art shows
• Ability to work Collaboratively and contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Experience working with grades 6-12

Secondary CSE Chairperson - Mahopac Middle School/Mahopac High School

• Facilitate the Committee on Special Education meetings for students in grades 6-12.
• Display excellent communication skills; both written and spoken. 
• Establish and maintain a collaborative approach with the CSE
• Ensure compliance with Federal Law IDEA and NYS Part 200 Regulations as well as Section 504.
• Work closely with families and staff to develop and implement high quality IEPs.
• Analyze student data to support program planning and improved outcomes for students with disabilities.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and documentation skills
• NYS School Psychologist certification preferred.

The Mahopac Central School District is seeking to fill several permanent substitute positions for the 2026/2027 school year.  Permanent substitutes are assigned to report daily to the same building.   We have openings at all levels in all certification areas. Salary is $140 per diem.
